Are Your Values Misaligned?

Ever felt dissatisfied without knowing exactly why? It could be that your life – or part of it – is not in alignment with your values. So, for example, you might consider yourself a ‘people person’ but spend most of your day doing administrative tasks on your own, or you may be a creative who somehow never has the time to create anything. This misalignment can certainly cause you to lose your mojo!

So what’s the fix? There are simple exercises coaches use, such as the Values Pyramid, that can help you rank your values and understand better what they mean so that you can work towards a life that’s more in tune with who you fundamentally are. It might mean a big shift, or a few smaller ones, but identifying what really matters to you could be the first step towards meaningful change.
